Baby Surprise Jacket in Green Mountain Madness Cherry Tree Hill SuperSock

This was a birthday gift to my sister, who is a new-enough mom to still appreciate gifts-to-the-
mom-that-are-really-for-
the-baby. (Or so I hope.)

I used Elizabeth Zimmerman's Baby Surprise Jacket pattern, knit with the SuperSock held double. This yielded 5 stitches per inch, which theoretically produced a garment for a 12 month old. However, my nephew recently attended his first wedding at the age of four months, and he was sporting this little sweater. It's very stretchy, so we'll see.
