Kureyon Scarf

I made my Kureyon hat & mittens last winter. I started a matching scarf a couple of times but didn't like my results and frogged both tries.

This time, I combined 3x3 ribbing with a central coin-type cable, bordered by seed stitch. Mostly by accident, the color repeat ended up being symmetrical. In the bottom photo, you can detect a few extra rows of turquoise; this was needed to complete the cable repeat. Beyond that, though, the sequence mirrors itself.

The finished scarf is 6 1/2 inches wide and 60 inches long, for a relaxed gauge of 6 stitches per inch. Stretched a bit, it's 5 stitches per inch. I used a 4.5 mm Addi Natura circular, working back and forth.
