Wonderful Wallaby, size 8
aka Willoughby Wallaby

The official name of this size is "Warren Wallaby," but as my son is four, and starting preschool, and Raffi's "Willoughby Wallaby" is sort of ubiquitous, and...well, it's been renamed at our house.

This was started on October 24, 2003, and completed on October 30, 2003. The yarn is KFI Gaelic Aran (superwash), color 39. As usual, I lengthened the torso by 2". My only real problems were at the spots where I joined in new balls of yarn. Eventually, I decided I liked knitting with the old and new strands together, then k2tog on the next round, but there is still a spot that needs to be futzed with on the front. I also learned to avoid adding in a new ball of yarn in the center of the lower portion of the hood. The woven in ends are relatively well-hidden, but they would be better off elsewhere.
